Next week, the PAC will be promoting a great, family friendly event- the Thrifty Foods Kids Run and Marathon (don’t be deceived by the marathon part- the kids run is only 1.2 km!) The run will be on Sunday, October 7th. Each child who participates will receive a medal, a t-shirt and a goodie bag. $15 registration. Bring your payment next week (Sept 10-14), to the PAC table and join the fun!

We hope you’ve had a fun-filled summer! As you settle into a new routine over the next couple of weeks please consider becoming an active member of the Parent Advisory Council at Vic West Elementary this school year. Some parents will be outside the school handing out flyers that describe in more detail what the PAC does and how your skills and talents can help make a difference to your child’s educational experience. We’ll also be sharing that information here on our new website. We’re very excited about using our new website as a tool to keep in touch with you on what the PAC is involved in throughout the school year.
