{"id":205,"date":"2013-01-30T02:19:00","date_gmt":"2013-01-30T07:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vicwestpac.com\/?p=205"},"modified":"2013-01-30T02:19:00","modified_gmt":"2013-01-30T07:19:00","slug":"anti-bullying-workshop-for-parents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicwestpac.com\/?p=205","title":{"rendered":"Anti-bullying workshop for parents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Parents are invited to attend a FREE anti-bullying parent education workshop led by Greater Victoria School District teacher, B\u00e9nula Larsen, on <b>Thursday, February 7th<\/b> from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at our school (room to be announced).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Participants of this event will learn about:<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">how to identify the signs of bullying;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">how to bully proof your child;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">what to do if you suspect your child is being bullied, and;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">what you can do about cyber-bullying.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Snacks and child care will be available.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">RSVP notices for this event have gone home in children&#8217;s backpacks.
